| Our own involvement in the Florida property market began in
1993 when we purchased our first rental property in Tarpon Springs. This
initial purchase was very quickly followed by others in Naples and
Bradenton (Sarasota) as we began to appreciate the potential of the Gulf
Coast. |
| All of these properties have proved to be excellent
investments and the next logical step was to use the vast experience we
had gained, to help other potential buyers to successfully purchase homes
in the sunshine state. |
| By successfully, we mean properties, that as a
result of their size, design and location will attract the best possible
rental income year in, year out, as well as provide their owners with many
happy family holidays in safe and secure environments. |
| It is in this way that we have built up our
portfolio of Gulf Coast properties, most of which, we have intimate
knowledge of, having been involved with the owners since day one. |
| It became clear early on that control over all
aspects of sales, rentals and management is a vital ingredient for
success and this resulted in the opening or our own Prestige Gulf Coast
offices in Naples and Sarasota in 1997, both of which we consider prime
areas for expanding future rental growth. |
| The next logical step in the development of the
business, bearing in mind our considerable knowledge of the Florida market
in general, was to obtain an Air Travel Operators Licence (ATOL), this
being achieved in 1996 and IATA Accreditation (1998) which then enabled us
to put together complete fully bonded holidays for those clients requiring
more than just a villa rental. |
| Having been involved in the Florida holiday
market now for nearly ten years. our reputation has grown to the extent
that a large proportion of our business is now either repeat or comes from
clients recommended to us by people who have experienced our friendly,
approachable and personal way of doing things. |
